We are a registered and licensed Day Care and English- Medium Pre-School which was established in 2018 in Mogoditshane as a premier institution of the Picasso Group of Schools. For the best learning experience, love, care and absolute cleanliness for your child, you have arrived. We admit children from six months to six years. Our product is a well-rounded individual who is knowledgeable, confident, reflective, balanced in thought, open-minded, caring and loving. This achievement is made possible by the engagement of qualified and committed staff, adequate facilities, rich and diverse curriculum, and enabling policies.

Computers
The 4th industrial revolution is upon us, making Information Technology the way to survival in this era. Therefore early exposure to computers is not an option for our learners. They get learners acquainted with different parts of a computer and play age- appropriate games which challenge and push them to task completion.
Music
Music brings joy and happiness to our minds, souls and bodies. Music contributes to the learners’ musical and physical development as they sing, dance, play musical games and learn the basics of musical instruments. This way it provides an opportunity for development of a myriad of other skills and potential talents.
Physical Education (P.E.)
At Little Picasso, we value play time or physical activity as we believe that every child has an inherent desire and capacity to play. Physical Education helps learners to acquire fundamental movement skills and creates awareness of physical health habits at this early stage. Fitness activities are combined with subjects such as reading, music, art and other educational activities to create fun in teaching and learning.
Swimming
Swimming develops motor skills, builds confidence and improves lung capacity. Therefore, it is critical to introduce children to the sport at this early age. Teaching revolves around helping learners to be safe in and around water. They are taken through a range of activities that teach them how to blow their bubbles, kick and move around the pool. Swimming lessons are offered by a trained and licensed swimming coach.
Agriculture
Here at Little Picasso Preschool we teach children the value of agriculture in the sense that it gives us food which is a basic life need. This is done through our backyard gardening project where the learners plant various vegetables that we even use in our kitchen. This also gives the learners an opportunity to experience and appreciate nature.
Drama
Drama teaches learners to remember their lines, self-expression and creativity. It equips them with real life and social skills that can serve them throughout their lives. They partake and showcase their talent in the end of year Christmas concert where they perform so beautifully like stars! Little Picasso Preschool encourages creativity of learners which can be expressed through drama. Dramatic play assists with self-expression, builds confidence, encourages teamwork and collaboration and also improves verbal and non-verbal communication skills. These drama skills are showcased during day to day lessons and at our end of year Christmas concert.
Art and Craft
Named after one of the greatest artists of his time, Pablo Picasso (1891-1973), Little Picasso is a school of greats. They learn shapes and different colours, how to handle scissors, pencils.
We plan to have annual Art Days where artists will be invited to teach our learners and others from the community Art. We also intent to make visits to Art studios.
